Waqfly ("Waqfly", "we", "us") is a free platform that lets masjids register and manage their own public page — prayer times, events, donations, photos — built and operated by MK Studio USA.

• Account information: if you create an account (to manage a masjid, submit feedback, or favorite a masjid), we collect your name and email address.
• Masjid information: masjid admins provide their masjid's name, address, contact details, prayer times, events, and any photos or descriptions they choose to upload. Address is used to calculate the masjid's location and timezone for prayer time calculations.
• Donation information: if you donate to a masjid or to Waqfly directly, your name, email, and donation amount are recorded. Payment card details are handled entirely by our payment processors (Stripe and/or Square) — Waqfly never sees or stores your full card number.
• Location (optional): the "Near Me" masjid search asks your browser for your current location, with your explicit permission each time. This is used only to sort search results and is not stored on our servers.
• Adhan alerts (optional): if you turn on Adhan alerts in the Waqfly Adhan app, we store your device's notification address (provided by your browser or phone), the masjid you chose or that was nearest to you, and which prayers you selected, so we can send each alert on time. We do not store your GPS coordinates for this.
• Messages: if you contact us or submit feedback, we store what you send us (name, email, and message content) so we can respond and keep a record.
• Basic technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and troubleshooting. We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

• To operate the platform — show prayer times, events, and masjid pages to visitors.
• To let masjid admins manage their masjid's listing and content.
• To process donations and send receipts (via our payment processors).
• To respond to messages, feedback, and support requests.
• To keep the platform secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

• Payment processors: Stripe and Square process donations. Donations to an individual masjid go directly to that masjid's own connected Stripe or Square account, not through a shared Waqfly account.
• Masjid administrators: feedback you submit about a specific masjid is visible to that masjid's admins, unless you mark it as private/escalated to Waqfly directly.
• Service providers: hosting and infrastructure providers who help us run the platform, bound to keep data confidential.
• We do not otherwise sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to protect the site from cross-site request forgery. We don't currently use tracking or advertising cookies.

• You can browse masjid pages, prayer times, and events without creating an account.
• You can update or delete your account information by contacting us.
• You can decline location access — "Near Me" search will simply be unavailable.
• You can turn Adhan alerts off at any time in the app, or block notifications for Waqfly in your browser or phone settings.
• You can ask us to delete data we hold about you, subject to what we need to keep for legal/accounting reasons (e.g. donation records).

We keep account and masjid data for as long as your account or masjid listing is active, and donation records for as long as needed for accounting purposes. We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.

Waqfly is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
